Around six people is the sweet spot on our recommended plan. The pack rewards splitting up, with one player on tech and another on magic, so a small group covers a lot of ground. Bigger groups work too, but every explorer generates new structures, so pregenerate the world and add memory as the group grows.

Take a backup first, install 2.3.4 over the existing server from the Modpacks tab and read the first boot log for missing registry warnings. Valhelsia 3 moves to Minecraft 1.16.5 with the Nether update and a newer modlist, while Valhelsia 2 stays on 1.15.2. Choose 2 if your group wants this exact mix or already has a world on it. The two are not save compatible, so a Valhelsia 2 world cannot be carried over into Valhelsia 3.

New chunks are expensive in this pack because Valhelsia Structures, Quark and the other worldgen mods all place features as terrain is created. When several players head off in different directions, the server generates those chunks at the same moment. Pregenerating with /forge generate before launch and keeping a sensible world border smooths out most of these spikes.
