The pack carries 174 Fabric mods, which puts it in the medium range, and most of the extra pressure comes from players exploring new land in different directions. Pregenerating the area around spawn lowers that pressure noticeably during the first week.

HORIZONS was built for a streamer and a cast of friends sharing one world, and around six players is the sweet spot on the recommended memory. Larger groups can still play, but because each explorer generates new terrain, you should raise the memory and pregenerate a wider radius before a bigger crowd joins.

Stop the server, back up the world and config folders, then install the newer build from the Modpacks tab over the current one. Knowing the series adds some nostalgia, yet the world, the challenge and the cooperative focus work fine for a group starting fresh, including players who have never run a modded server before.
