About Riverside
Riverside sits on the Ohio River in the north west of the original map, and it is the closest thing the game has to an easy start. Around fifteen hundred zombies live here, and roughly two thirds of them are in the coastal business district and the eastern gated community, which leaves the ordinary suburbs genuinely quiet. Some cells hold fewer than a hundred.
The river solves water and food at the same time, so a fishing rod carries you a long way. The weak point is firearms: Riverside has no reliable gun spawns, so plan on melee and on keeping it quiet. The gated community is the exception worth the risk, with thirty four houses packed together and rare vehicles like the Mercia Lang 4000 and the Chevalier Cossette parked outside them.
