About Brandenburg
Brandenburg is one of the four towns Build 42 added, sitting on the Ohio River in the far north west corner of the map, west of Riverside along the same coast. It is modelled on the real Brandenburg, Kentucky, and the game gives it a backstory: a tornado tore through the south east of town in 1993, so that whole section is still wrecked houses and cleared lots.
It runs around 5,600 zombies on default settings, which puts it above Muldraugh and Irvington and nowhere near Louisville. The town splits into a northern residential district and a southern commercial strip where the zombies pack in tight around the shops. Look for the Brandenburg Detention Center, the military blockade on the north west bridge, P.S. Delilah, Memento Ammori and the Pondview Shopping Center.
