About Echo Creek
Echo Creek is a small rural town added in Build 42, sitting on KY-60 east of Ekron and north of Irvington, split by the creek it is named after. It became a Custom Sandbox start in 42.17. On paper it is gentle: easier than Muldraugh, a little harder than Rosewood or Riverside, with a low resident population.
The catch is that the population does not stay low. Zombies migrate in from the busier cells nearby, and strong melee weapons are scarce here, so a slow leak becomes a real problem if you settle without a plan. What Echo Creek does better than anywhere else is animal husbandry, thanks to the farmland wrapped around it and Ovo Farms on the edge. West of main street there is an abandoned outdoor festival with a guaranteed generator.
