Does my server include the Caves?

How do I install Steam Workshop mods?

Don't Starve Together uses two files. In mods/dedicated_server_mods_setup.lua you add a ServerModSetup line with the Workshop ID so the server downloads the mod, then you enable it in modoverrides.lua inside each shard folder. Edit both over FTP or in the panel file manager and restart. There is no one-click mod installer for this game, so our Getting Started guide walks through both files.

Do I need a Klei cluster token?

Yes, every online Don't Starve Together server needs one, and it is free. Generate it on your Klei account page, or in game with TheNet:GenerateClusterToken() in the console, then paste it into the Server Token field on the Startup tab. Without a valid token the server refuses to start, which is why the panel asks for it before the first boot.

How many players can join, and can I change it?

New servers are set to 16 players, which suits almost every group. You can change that yourself from the Startup tab and the new limit applies on the next restart. Higher player counts want more RAM, because the surface shard and the Caves shard both hold their share of the world in memory at the same time.

Can I change my plan or get a refund?

Yes. You can move your RAM up or down at any time from your control panel, and the change applies after a restart with your world, your mods and your server name untouched.
