Rifle Bodies give the most scrap at 31 each on a regular recycler, followed by Tech Trash and Electric Fuses at 24. Semi-Automatic Bodies and SMG Bodies return 18. Always recycle these rather than crafting with them unless you specifically need the item.

Yes. Recyclers inside Safe Zones such as Outpost and Bandit Camp return roughly 20 percent less than the recyclers at regular monuments like Airfield or Water Treatment. Use the toggle above to compare both. If you are farming pure scrap, a regular monument recycler is more efficient.

Recyclers are found at most monuments, including Outpost, Bandit Camp, Airfield, Water Treatment, Satellite Dish, and the Junkyard. Outpost and Bandit Camp are inside Safe Zones, so you cannot be attacked while recycling there, but the yield is lower.

Most crafted weapons and tools recycle into a fraction of their craft cost, so recycling a gun you will not use is usually worth it for the components and scrap. Higher tier weapons return more. Check the component value first: a Rifle Body alone is worth 31 scrap, so stripping guns for parts adds up fast.
