Minecraft Server Status Checker

Simply enter the server's IP address or hostname (like play.doomhosting.com) and click 'Check Server Status'. Our tool will query the server directly and return its current status, player count, version, and more within seconds.

The status checker displays whether the server is online or offline, the current number of players vs the maximum slots, server latency (ping), the server version, and the MOTD (Message of the Day) if available. For some servers, the current map or game mode may also be shown.

There are several reasons a server might show as offline: the server may actually be down, the IP address or hostname might be incorrect, the server could be behind a firewall blocking query packets, or the server might have query protocol disabled. Double-check the address and try again.

Our Minecraft status checker primarily targets Java Edition servers using the standard query protocol. Bedrock Edition servers may also work if they have query enabled, but results can vary. For the most reliable results, use it with Java Edition servers.

You can check a server's status as often as you like. Results are cached for 30 seconds to prevent excessive queries, so if you check the same server again within 30 seconds you'll see the cached result.
