Funcom confirmed on October 27, 2026 that Conan Exiles Enhanced is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in early 2027, and that full crossplay with PC follows "soon after launch". It's the first time Conan Exiles has promised PC and console players a shared world. If you run a PC server, nothing changes today, but this is the news your console friends have been waiting for since Enhanced landed on Steam in May.
Here's what Funcom actually confirmed, what it left open, and how to get a PC server ready for the day crossplay switches on.
When Does Conan Exiles Enhanced Release on PS5 and Xbox?
Early 2027. There's no exact day yet; Funcom says the release date and more details come later. What is locked in:
- Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Price for existing owners: free. PS4 owners get the PS5 upgrade, Xbox One owners get Series X|S.
- Two games, one purchase: on console, Enhanced is its own game next to Conan Exiles Legacy. Buying either version gives you both.
- Purchases carry over: Crom Coins, Bazaar items, DLC and Twitch Drops all move to Enhanced. Crom Coins stop working in Legacy once Enhanced launches, because the Bazaar is switched off there, so spend them first if you're staying on Legacy.
- Content parity: Legacy of the Giant-Kings and every Bazaar item released on Steam are on console from day one.
This closes the gap that opened on May 5, 2026, when Enhanced shipped on Steam as a free Unreal Engine 5 upgrade while consoles stayed on the old UE4 build. Legacy stays on sale for console players, but only gets critical bug fixes from here and loses access to official servers.
Crossplay: What Funcom Confirmed and What It Didn't

The line that matters is short: "full cross-play is coming to Conan Exiles Enhanced, soon after launch." Read it carefully, because two details change how you plan.
First, crossplay is not a launch feature. Console players get Enhanced first, and the shared PC and console world comes later. Don't promise your community a date.
Second, Funcom has not yet said whether crossplay reaches private and rented servers or only official ones. The FAQ says, more than once, that information on "how players and private server hosts can prepare" will come closer to release. Until then nobody can tell you for certain that a PS5 player will be able to join a PC dedicated server, and that includes us. We'll update this post when Funcom publishes the details.
One thing we can say from running Conan servers every day: Steam Workshop mods are PC-only. Console players have never been able to download Workshop content, so if crossplay does extend to private servers, a heavily modded server is the least likely to let console players in. If a mixed PC and console community is the goal, keep a vanilla or lightly modded setup in your back pocket.
Isle of Siptah Servers Go Away on Console Too
Consoles get the same map change PC already went through. In Enhanced the Isle of Siptah is merged into the Exiled Lands, so separate Siptah servers no longer exist. Funcom had to move the island's coordinates to do it, which means Siptah bases can't be kept through the upgrade. On official Exiled Lands servers, characters, followers and bases carry forward untouched.
Single-player saves move to Enhanced one way only: once a save is loaded in Enhanced, Legacy can't open it again. Funcom warns that console players who can't back up their save files can't undo that.
PC server owners already did this migration in May. If console players join your community later, they'll arrive on the merged world your server already runs.
Legacy of the Giant-Kings Part Three Lands November 10

The same announcement dated the next story chapter: Legacy of the Giant-Kings Part Three arrives on November 10, 2026, with Akhamet taking a bigger role. Funcom is keeping the details for release day.
This one matters to PC server owners right now, because it hits your server in two weeks while consoles wait until 2027. Part Two on October 6 brought Rifts, four new Sorcery spells and the Mi-Go, followed two days later by hotfix 3.0.1, which among other things fixed a crash when checking the Player List on official servers. Expect a similar hotfix rhythm after November 10.
What This Means for Your Server

- Nothing to do today. PC Enhanced servers keep running exactly as they are. Console is the side that changes.
- Back up before November 10. Snapshot the
ConanSandbox/Savedfolder, which holdsgame.db(your whole world), before Part Three rolls out. A rollback is painless with a known good copy and miserable without one. - Retest your mods after every chapter. Story updates touch items, spells and recipes, which is exactly where Workshop mods break. Test on a copy before your players log in.
- Review your settings. If crossplay does reach private servers, a bigger mixed crowd may need different harvest rates, PvP windows or clan caps. Our Conan Exiles server settings guide covers each one.
- Leave disk headroom. The Enhanced install is around 61 GB, and every chapter adds to it.
Worth Getting Excited About?
Yes, with your eyes open. Conan Exiles is approaching its 10th anniversary, and Funcom committing to Enhanced on current consoles plus new content "throughout 2027 and beyond" tells you the game isn't winding down. Crossplay is the bigger story: PC and console communities have played in separate worlds since day one. But "soon after launch", with nothing said yet about private servers, is a promise rather than a feature. Plan for it, don't bet your server on it.
Host Your Conan Exiles Server with DoomHosting
Run your Enhanced server on DoomHosting's Conan Exiles servers: Ryzen 9 hardware, instant setup, full FTP access for mods and configs, DDoS protection and 24/7 support. Take your pre-Part Three backup straight from the control panel.
One more chapter on November 10, consoles in 2027: the Exiled Lands are about to get a lot more crowded.
