Baby Mob Redesigns Have Arrived in Minecraft
Mojang just dropped the final batch of baby mob redesigns, and they are exactly as cute (and dangerous) as you would expect. With the newest Java snapshot and Bedrock beta/preview from February 2026, you can now test the refreshed looks for Baby Hoglin, Baby Zoglin, Baby Strider, Snifflet, and Baby Panda. These mobs have always been in the game - they just got a serious visual upgrade.
Baby Hoglin

The Nether has never been cuter, and that is a problem. The redesigned baby Hoglin comes with tiny tusks, tiny stripes, and a tiny body that is more than enough to distract you from a nearby lava stream. Do not let the looks fool you: these little trotters are still as hostile as ever. Cute from a distance. Dangerous up close.
Baby Zoglin

Just as baby as the Hoglin but with an extra layer of nope. The redesigned Baby Zoglin combines confusingly cute with a look that made more than one player take a step back. Tusks and all. Will you risk it for a bit of horrified delight?
Baby Strider
Baby Striders have never been cheerful creatures, and the new look has not changed that one bit. There is something deeply satisfying about a grumpy little baby with a tuft of hair on top trotting around on lava. The redesign keeps the grumpy energy, just cranks the charm up a notch.
Snifflet
The Sniffer has always followed its own nose, and the Snifflet is no exception. The adorable snoot and characteristic sploot are preserved - and improved - in the new design. Mojang themselves estimate the probability of it stealing your heart increases by 749%.
Baby Panda

No thoughts, just baby. Baby Pandas have been in the game for years, but the new look makes them feel freshly hatched. Whether playful, aggressive, or weak and snotty-nosed, the redesigned Baby Panda brings nothing but pure-hearted, tumbling joy to the Overworld.
How to Test the New Designs
