What does the Palworld save editor do?

It opens a Palworld player save (a file in your Players folder) directly in your browser, shows what is stored inside it, and lets you change your technology points and ancient technology points. It then rebuilds a valid .sav file for you to download and copy back.

Is it safe? Does my save get uploaded?

Yes. The whole thing runs inside your browser with WebAssembly, so the file is never uploaded to us or to anyone else. The tool also never touches your original file: it produces a new copy for you to download. Back up your save folder first anyway.

Where do I find my Palworld save file?

On Windows, open %LOCALAPPDATA%\Pal\Saved\SaveGames, then your Steam ID folder, then the world folder. Player saves are in the Players subfolder and are named after a 32-character ID. On a dedicated server the same Players folder sits inside the world folder of the server SaveGames directory.

What can I actually edit?

Technology points and ancient technology points, which are the values stored directly in the player save. The tool also shows your player ID, the SteamID64 behind it, and how many recipes you have unlocked.

Can I edit my level, my Pals or their stats?

No, and that is deliberate. Your character level, your Pals, their stats and passive skills are not in the player save at all. They sit inside Level.sav in a packed binary block that the community save library cannot rewrite on Palworld 1.0 saves without corrupting it. Offering a control that breaks your world would be worse than not offering it.

Does it work with a dedicated server or co-op world?

Yes. Select the world folder instead of a single file and the tool lists every character it finds, so you can pick the one to edit. For a dedicated server, stop the server first, edit the player file, then upload it back into the server Players folder.
