Yes. Your server has full FTP access, so you can drop an existing .savegame file straight into the save folder and load it from the server. You can also download the server's saves at any time to keep your own backups, on top of the automatic backups included with your plan.

Yes. You can upgrade RAM or storage at any time from your control panel and only pay the difference for the rest of your billing period. Astroneer servers are light on memory, so most groups never need to move up, but the option is there if your base grows.
